This page summarizes practical security controls and how to report potential vulnerabilities.
1. Security practices
Ladder Breakers uses HTTPS in transit, restricted production access, environment-isolated secrets, signed session cookies, server-side payment verification, webhook signature verification, and audit logging for sensitive admin and billing activity.
Resume and application documents are stored using controlled infrastructure and access patterns. Operational logs and analytics are redacted where practical to reduce exposure of sensitive career data.
2. Account security
Sign-in uses one-time email codes or Google OAuth where enabled. Keep your email account secure, because it controls access to your Ladder Breakers workspace.
If you suspect unauthorized account access, contact support immediately so we can help secure the account and review recent activity.
3. Automation safety
Application automation uses queueing, retries, match thresholds, manual-review states, bot-session detection, rate limits, and provider health checks to protect users, employers, and platform reliability.
We may pause, delay, reject, or cap application activity when we detect abuse, suspicious activity, provider instability, inaccurate profile data, or third-party platform restrictions.
4. Vulnerability reporting
If you believe you found a security issue, email support@ladderbreakers.ai with a clear description, affected URL or feature, reproduction steps, and any relevant screenshots or logs.
Please avoid accessing, modifying, downloading, or deleting other users’ data; disrupting the service; social engineering; spam; physical attacks; or public disclosure before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate.
5. No absolute guarantee
No internet service can guarantee perfect security. We work to reduce risk, monitor for failures, and respond quickly when issues are reported or detected.
