AI & Automation Policy

Effective August 17, 2026

This policy explains what happens when Ladder Breakers uses AI and automation to help with your job search.

1. What automation does

Ladder Breakers can search supported job sources, score roles against your preferences, generate tailored application materials, fill employer application forms, and submit applications when your chosen mode authorizes submission.

You control your target roles, locations, work modes, salary preferences, application volume, and whether a role should be submitted automatically or routed to manual review.

2. Authorization to apply

When you enable auto-apply or approve an application, you authorize Ladder Breakers to use your profile, resume, answers, generated materials, and contact details to prepare or submit that application to the employer or its hiring platform.

Submitted applications may include personal data and, when you choose to provide it, sensitive application information such as work authorization, sponsorship needs, veteran status, disability status, demographic self-identification, or other employer-requested responses.

3. AI-generated materials

AI-generated resumes, cover letters, answers, Match Scores, and recommendations are generated from your profile, uploaded materials, preferences, employer job descriptions, and other job-search context.

AI can make mistakes, omit context, or phrase information poorly. You are responsible for reviewing your profile facts, answer bank, and any materials you manually approve. Do not ask Ladder Breakers to invent credentials, employers, education, work authorization, licenses, certifications, or other facts.

4. Employer systems and verification

Employer hiring platforms are third-party systems. They may change forms, reject automated sessions, require manual review, present CAPTCHA or anti-bot checks, send one-time passcodes, or block submissions for reasons outside our control.

If Ladder Breakers supports email aliases, forwarding, or verification-code workflows for your account, those workflows are used only to support application submission, application tracking, spam prevention, security, and related support.

Some platforms restrict automation or AI-assisted submissions. You are responsible for deciding whether to use Ladder Breakers for a particular employer or platform, and we may pause or block destinations when reliability, safety, or platform restrictions require it.

5. Third-party terms and destination rules

Employers, job boards, applicant tracking systems, browser stores, email providers, and other third-party services may have their own terms, limits, data practices, bot policies, and eligibility rules. You are responsible for deciding whether your use of Ladder Breakers with those services is appropriate.

We may block, pause, or retire an application destination, integration, workflow, or feature if we believe continued use creates reliability, legal, security, platform, account, or reputational risk.

6. Quality controls

We use match thresholds, role filters, application preferences, answer review, abuse controls, and manual-review states to reduce irrelevant submissions. These controls do not guarantee that every role will be a perfect fit or that every employer will accept a submitted application.

You can pause automation, adjust preferences, review queued applications, update answers, remove jobs, and contact support if a submission looks wrong.

7. Queueing, limits, and safety stops

Applications may be queued, delayed, batched, retried, capped, or routed to manual review to protect quality, deliverability, provider limits, user budgets, and employer systems.

Automation may stop when we detect bot challenges, session failures, suspicious activity, missing user facts, payment or credit issues, provider outages, stale jobs, or incomplete employer forms.

8. Automated decision-making

When auto-submit is enabled, Ladder Breakers performs automated ranking, selection, drafting, and form-filling at your direction to execute the preferences and limits you set. To avoid automated submissions, use manual review and decline any applications you do not want sent.

Match Scores and recommendations are product automation, not employment, credit, housing, insurance, immigration, legal, or similarly regulated eligibility decisions by Ladder Breakers.

9. No hiring guarantee

Ladder Breakers does not guarantee interviews, offers, compensation, response rates, or employment. Hiring outcomes depend on employer needs, market conditions, your qualifications, your materials, timing, interviews, and other factors outside our control.
